How We Work

Before beginning any case, we assemble a highly specialized legal team. While no two clients (or cases) are ever exactly the same, we do follow a proven guideline when it comes to putting your trial team together. To begin with, we staff your case with no more than two partners, an associate, and a legal assistant. This combination gives you a team that provides maximum efficiency, without compromising your legal budget.

We will candidly discuss with you the details of our plan, including all staffing matters. We firmly believe in matching our clients with attorneys with whom they feel completely comfortable.

Additionally, we keep you informed with our weekly updates, including conference calls and team meetings. And unlike other attorney firms, we make sure that all of our inter office communications reach the right people- the first time. Because we know that duplication of our efforts only leads to a waste of our time and yours.

Effective Doesn’t Have to Mean Expensive

With years of experience in the Houston legal field, Killeen & Stern as developed an effective, and cost efficient, approach to the litigation process. We treat both our per-hour clients and contingence fee cases with the same diligence and respect. And after thirteen years, we’ve developed a keen insight on what’s important when it comes to winning court cases (and what’s not). We believe that a successful attorney-client relationship must be based on trust—and it’s hard to build that trust when you feel as though your lawyer is lining his pockets at your expense. That’s why we limit the document discovery and deposition processes to the essential. You won’t find us sending three lawyers to a deposition when only one is required.
