Mr. Mihalick was born in Indianapolis, Indiana, in 1971, but moved to Texas in 1976 and has since then called Texas home. He attended the University of Texas at Austin, receiving a Bachelor of Arts degree in History in 1994. While at the University of Texas, Mr. Mihalick was an active member of the Tau Chapter of Kappa Sigma. Prior to entering law school, he worked in sales and marketing.
Mr. Mihalick attended South Texas College of Law in Houston, Texas, and obtained his Juris Doctorate in May 2004. While at South Texas College of Law, Mr. Mihalick made the Dean’s List, received the Highest Grade Award for Products Liability, won the Chester James Taylor International Law Writing Competition (2004), and became a member of the Phi Delta Phi Legal Honors Fraternity. Additionally, Mr. Mihalick was a member of Currents International Trade Law Journal, participated in moot court, and served as a legal intern in the South Texas College of Law Legal Clinic, which provided legal services to the disadvantaged.
Before joining Killeen & Stern, Mr. Mihalick practiced in the toxic tort arena, and most recently, practiced for an aggressive civil litigation firm focusing on commercial disputes, contract litigation, and matters pertaining to real estate.
Mr. Mihalick primarily focuses his practice on civil litigation. In addition, Mr. Mihalick has handled real property matters, construction litigation, contract disputes, employment matters, worker’s compensation claims, breach of fiduciary duty cases, and toxic torts.
