Christopher M. Raney was born in Dallas, Texas in 1981.
He attended the University of Florida in Gainesville, Florida
where he received a Bachelor of Arts with highest honors
in 2002. Mr. Raney attended South Texas College of Law, where
he obtained his Juris Doctor, magna cum laude, in
2005. While in law school, Mr. Raney served as an assistant
articles editor of the South Texas Law Review and
was a member of Currents International Trade Law Journal.
Mr.
Raney was admitted to the Texas bar in 2005. He is also admitted
to practice before the United States Court of Appeals for
the Fifth Circuit, and the United States District Courts
for the Southern and Eastern Districts of Texas.
Mr. Raney
is active in the legal community and is a member of the State
Bar of Texas, Houston Bar Association, Houston Young Lawyers
Association, Maritime Law Association, and the Southeastern
Admiralty Law Institute.
Before joining the firm, Mr. Raney
practiced for two years with a well-known Houston maritime
firm. Mr. Raney primarily focuses his practice on litigation. |
