Scott Williams attended the University of Texas at Austin (Magna Cum Laude with Special Honors) where he received a Bachelor of Science degree in English in 1984. While at the University of Texas, he was an active member of the Phi Beta Kappa National Honor Society and the Sigma Tau Delta National English Honor Society. He went out to earn degree of Juris Doctor in 1987 at the University of Houston Law Center. Mr. Williams was admitted to the Texas Bar (1987), U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Texas (1988) and Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit (1990). He is active in the legal community and is a member of the State Bar of Texas. He has numerous co-authored C.L.E. articles on Texas receivership law as applied to family law cases.
